Quality Assurance

Mars Exports the most reputed textile houses and supply total quality. The company has a firm believe in fair dealing with its customers. Due to this commitment, the motto of Mars Exports is "Quality on Time".

 Inspection

Mars Exports employs seasoned textile inspectors having good technical know how, and equips them with specialized inspection kits. Further, in house training is provided to these people to standardize the procedure according to various inspection systems. These inspectors then specialize in the following.

• 4 Points System (American System)

We have developed our own set of templates for various disciplines. By using these templates assessment of the products is made by assigning points according to the faults. This data is then provided to the quality assurance department which evaluates the products by comparing the inspection data with buyer's specification.

The inspectors are also responsible to check the following before the fabric is dispatched to the buyer.

• The specified proportion of the total quantity is inspected. If not specified, at least 10% is inspected.
• Every lot is checked, signed and stamped.
• Packing List to be obtained.
• Packing ratio to be checked.
• Calculation of fabric weight (GSM).
• Collection of shipment samples, if required.
• To ensure that only the marked/verified material are loaded at the time of shipment.

Inspection report mailed to the buyer consists of the following.

• Quantity available, inspected and rejected
• Average number of defects and average points
• Warp and weft yarns used
• Average fabric weight (GSM)
• Piece length ratio
• Shipment samples collected
• Packing information
• Inspection date and inspector's name

Shipment/Transportation

For the convenience of our customers, Mars Exports has acquired from well reputed transporters and shipping companies for the dispatch of fabric to its destination, keeping in view economy, safety and efficiency. At the time of dispatch our inspectors are available to ensure that only the inspected fabric is loaded. Dispatch report, which is immediately mailed to the customer, consists of,

• Transporter's / shipping company's name
• Contact number
• BL number
• Vessel information
• Total bales dispatched
• Total quantity of the consignment (meters/yards)
• Dispatch date and time
• Destination address
• Expected date of arrival
• Freight
